Member Events

Get the tee times that you want throughout the year without the hassle of booking them on a weekly or monthly basis.  For our members we book their desired tee times a year in advance to ensure that they get what they want.

                        Men

MGA Tour– A season-long event that consists of various individual and team formats.  This event is based off the PGA Tour’s Fedex Cup Points System and concludes with playoffs and a finale in August.  The MGA is played every Saturday with the exception of other major club events.

President’s Cup – An individual net stroke play event that includes lunch and prizes following play.

Member-Member Championship – A 27-Hole Two Man Team event that consists of three 9-hole matches that consist of scramble, best ball and alternate shot formats.

Match Play Championship – A 64 man bracket style individual net match play event that runs from Summer through Fall.

Member-Guest – The highlight of the year.  This famous men’s event consists of five 9-hole team matches of golf over two days with breakfast and lunch included each day.  The finale, a sudden-death shootout, is a spectacle of its own.  The entire field watches a handful of players compete for the coveted Ocean City Green Jacket and to be crowned as the Member-Guest Champions.

Senior Club Championship – This event is intended for the “seasoned” players at our club.  It is a two day, 36-hole individual stroke play championship that consists different age groups, flights.

Club Championship – Our club championship is a flighted individual stroke play championship.  The winner of this event is forever enshrined in our clubs history as the year’s best player.

The One-Day Member-Guest – A single day form of our regular Member-Guest.  This event consists of three 9-hole team matches that are played in a single day with a sudden-death shootout at the conclusion of play.

                        Ladies

OCLGA – A season-long league that consists of both 9 and 18-hole divisions.  Each week consists of a different format and prizes are paid weekly and yearly.

Member-Guest – This much anticipated event is an 18-hole team championship that includes food and prizes for all participants.

Club Championship – This event is a flighted individual stroke play format that awards both gross and net champions.  This event is always filled with excitement and competition for all handicap divisions.

Senior Club Championship – This event is a flighted individual stroke play championship that awards both gross and net winners.  This event is always filled with dramatic competition.

                        Mixed

Parent-Child Championship – A fun tournament to play with your son or daughter.  This event is golf at its purest form with fun for all and prizes that are awarded at a lunch reception following play.

Member Appreciation Night

A dinner that is held yearly to show our gratitude of our membership.  This event is filled with fun and excitement and is sure to create lasting memories for all in attendance.

Member Christmas Party

A season-concluding event that always hosts a great attendance.  In this event the club’s major tournament winners are announced as well as the state of the club.  This event also invites you to have fun with great songs and dancing as well as tremendous food.
